  • Freddie and Sarah finally tied the knot in Jalisco, Mexico, south of Puerto Vallarta on Sunday, September 1st. (The couple's publicists confirmed today.) The private ceremony was attended by 60 guests, including actress Shannen Doherty ("Beverly Hills, 90210," "Charmed") and actor Dule Hill from the NBC political drama "The West Wing."

    The nondenominational wedding was officiated by Hollywood choreographer Adam Shankman, and guests dined on filet mignon and lobster tail. The bride wore Vera Wang, while the groom was dressed in a custom-made linen suit.

    The wedding, which had been planned for outdoors was forced to move inside the $3,000-per-night Sol de Oriente (Sun of the East) rental house when a thunderstorm hit Jalisco.

    The $7,500 platinum and diamond necklace Sarah Michelle Gellar wore to the Teen Choice Awards 2001-2020 was an extravagant gift from Freddie. The necklace, called the Love pendant was designed by L.A. jewelry designer Cathy Waterman.

    Scooby Sequel Given Green Light

    With a blockbuster opening weekend of $54.2 million, Warner Bros. has already confirmed plans to have "Scooby-Doo II" in theaters for the summer of 2004. There's no word about a premise yet, but the cast all had sequel clauses, so you can expect the road through development might be relatively smooth. Michel Fleming of "Variety" confirms that filming is scheduled to start in early 2003 to make that summer, 2004 release.

    As Warner Bros.' president of worldwide productions, Lorenzo di Bonaventura, told Variety, "We promised audiences a summer movie the whole family could enjoy together, and they gave us a tremendous opening weekend. We're certain we've got another great Scooby-Doo story to tell in movie theaters two years from now."

    Vampire-slaying actress Sarah Michelle Gellar and her boyish boyfriend Freddie Prince Jr have made themselves very unpopular among their fellow Scooby Doo cast and crew members after some diva-tastic behaviour. According to US reports, the uppity upstarts refused to stay in the same hotel as their colleagues while filming an MTV promotional special in Mexico. Further bad behaviour – approaching the standards of J.Lo or Mariah Carey – came when they refused to eat meals provided by MTV, and instead sent a chauffeur on a two-hour trip to pick up some nibbles form the nearest Ritz. A spokesperson confirmed the lunch problems, saying, 'They were told that they would be having a catered meal from a hotel.' Instead it transpires the couple were offered – shudder – hot dogs and hamburgers.

    March 16, 2001-2020 - Sarah Michelle Gellar recently let Buffy co-star Michelle Trachtenberg borrow a custom made chain to a party which left Freddie Prinze Jr. none too pleased when he and Sarah ran into Michelle at the party. Freddie didn't make a scene at the party, but later lit into Sarah for loaning out the $5,000 jewelry he helped design.

    Carson Daly and Mandy Moore Kick Off "MTV SPRING BREAK 2001-2020"

    MTV: MUSIC TELEVISION announced today that for the first time ever, "MTV Spring Break 2001-2020" will be integrating MTV, MTV2 and MTV.com to present viewers with a full spring break experience. MTV will air 60 hours of spring break programming, MTV2 will take a spring break road trip, and MTV.com will launch a complete spring break interactive area. In addition, "MTV Spring Break 2001-2020" will return to Cancún, Mexico from March 13th through March 16th. MTV will also visit Panama City Beach, Florida and the island of Barbados. "MTV Spring Break 2001-2020" airs on MTV the weekend of March 22-24, beginning at 4PM (ET/PT) on March 22nd.

    Cancun Capers - Cancun Capers - Surprise? Mystery? Intrigue? It's all there when the cast of the new upcoming movie "Scooby Doo" comes to Cancun. Hosted by Sarah Michelle Geller, Freddie Prinze Jr., Matthew Lillard, and Linda Cardellini, this is a an adventure like no other. Two teams of spring breakers are taken to an disclosed location where they have they have to find clues that will lead them to the cast of the film. The team that displays the best detective work will be deemed super sleuths and rewarded for their efforts.

    Hulk & Scooby-Doo: Lights Out Entertainment reports that they've received several tips indicating several days of filming will take place in the US on the upcoming "Scooby Doo" movie, though whether this is reshoots or additional photography is unclear. There's more though - "What is for sure is that most of the stuff features the CGI dog, and a bit with Matthew Lillard who plays Shaggy". Meanwhile "Hulk" fans will be eager to hear the cast "gathered on the Universal lot this week for camera tests and wardrobe and make-up tests". Shooting begins in a few weeks though their source's review of the script is mixed due to some sequences (such as Hulk riding around in fighter jets).

  • Freddie will appear on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno this Wednesday Feb. 13 (other guests include downhill skier Picabo Street and Barenaked Ladies)


  • According to Tylerchristopher.com and ABC Soaps in Depth, Freddie and Sarah attended Tyler and Eva's wedding. Tyler (actor from General Hospital) and Eva Longoria (actress from The Young and the restless) married Sunday, January 20 in Las Vegas, Nevada. It was a wonderful and moving ceremony with Freddie Prinze, Jr. standing as best man for Tyler and Eva's best friend gave her away. Sarah Michelle Gellar was also a witness who took video and photos for the happy couple.

    'Buffy', Freddie lend voices to 'Shrek' producer

    Young Hollywood power-couple Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. will join Sigourney Weaver in voicing a new animated feature from the producer of "Shrek."
         The Hollywood Reporter says "Happily N'Ever After" is being produced by John H. Williams. It is being targeted for 2003 summer release.
         The story is borrowed from Brothers Grimm fairytales and is based on the European animated series "SimsalaGrimm."
         The report said the story is set in the fairytale land of Simsala, where good and evil have become unbalanced. Gellar will voice Ella, who is torn between love with a prince and a lowly palace dishwasher (voiced by Prinze). Weaver plays the evil stepmother, Frida, The      Hollywood Reporter said.
    The film is being directed by Gerhard Hahn, who helmed "Asterix In Amerika," based on the popular French comic character.
         Prinze and Gellar, who are engaged off-screen, co-star in the upcoming live-action/animated feature "Scooby Doo."

    As you can see, there is a new layout for the site. I thought that it needed a new look for 2001-2020. My apologizies for the lack of updates, Freddie hasn't been making a lot of public appearances after Summer Catch. Hopefully, there will be more promotion with the new release of Scooby Doo this summer.
